Lima Bids for 2019 Pan American Games

The Peruvian Olympic Committee (COP) and government officials have officially submitted Lima’s bid to host the 2019 Pan American Games.

The other cities bidding to host the games are La Punt in Argentina, Santiago in Chile and Puerto Ordaz in Venezuela. All five cities have never hosted the Games before.

The 2015 Pan American Games will take place in Toronto.
