By Ben Page | April 7, 2021
With just five days to go we are eagerly counting down to the start of our highly anticipated global forum alongside the International Tennis Federation, ‘Level The Playing Field’.
Today we are looking at our opening panel for the event, taking place between 2-5pm BST next Monday, April 12th.
It is fantastic to now have Dr Eva Voss of BNP Paribas joining us to complete the lineup for our opening panel, joining Akira Mistsumasu, VP Global CX at Japan Airlines, Kirsty Coventry, Chair of the IOC Athletes’ Commission, Angela Ruggiero, CEO and Co-founder of Sports Innovation Lab and Kelly Fairweather, COO of the ITF.
The session will be moderated by Nuala Walsh, Vice-Chair of UN Women and founder of Mind Equity.
For part one of our first panel Before you have leaders, you need to get girls and women into the industry pipeline. How do you encourage them to get into sport and sports administration? How can tennis and wider sport industry work together to build awareness of the global employment opportunities?
In part two we will look at how more women can rise to leadership positions? The role of female and male mentors within organisations. How can the sports industry be a leader in enabling women to have both careers and children?
