LET Appoints Lichtenhein as Chairman
December 22, 2016
The Ladies European Tour has appointed Mark Lichtenhein as its new Chairman.
Lichtenhein, a former senior executive on the mens’ tour, has been a board member of LET since December 2015.
He joined the European Tour in 1999, and has spent much of his career in the digital media sphere. He stepped down from his role as the European Tour’s Head of Television, Digital Media and Technology in 2015.
“It’s a great privilege to be elected LET chairman at this exciting time for women’s golf, particularly given golf’s unique position as the only Olympic sport that Europe plays together as a team,” Lichtenhein said.
