Leicester Tigers Seal Caterpillar Sponsorship Extension

Aviva Premiership team, ed Leicester Tigers have announced Caterpillar has renewed its support of the club by signing a new three-year sponsorship deal.

Under the terms of the agreement, Caterpillar remains the main sponsor of the Leicester Tigers.

Caterpillar (UK) Ltd managing director, Robert Droogleever, said: “The close relationship between Caterpillar and Leicester Tigers has enabled us to positively engage with our customers, dealers and employees from around the globe in a fantastic sporting environment. As proud sponsors of Leicester Tigers, we are excited to continue our relationship with the club for a further three-year period.”

Tigers executive chairman Peter Tom CBE said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Caterpillar.

“Caterpillar is a leading global brand and its involvement with the Leicester Tigers demonstrates the status of both the club and professional rugby in this country.

“We have worked very closely with Caterpillar since 2008 and it has played a significant role in the continued development of Leicester Tigers during the term of its initial main sponsorship. We look forward to further strengthening that relationship during this new term.”

Caterpillar employs 10,000 people in the UK to support, design, develop and manufacture heavy equipment and engine products for its global customer base, and has been Tigers sponsor since 2008.
