August 27, 2013

Leicester City have announced that it has extended its partnership with Pukka Pies to continue to supply King Power Stadium.

Pukka Pies, check which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, has been providing both Filbert Street and King Power Stadium for a number of years and when City’s Official Partners initiative was launched in 2004, immediately became one of the Club’s most valued partners.

The deal means Foxes fans will continue to savour the 60 million pies produced by Pukka Pies every year when they attend matches at King Power Stadium this season.

Leicester City’s Partnership Manager, Harj Hir said: “Pukka Pies have been a valued partner for a number of years and to be able to continue that link into the new season is fantastic news.

“As a well-established local company with a worldwide reputation as a brand leader in the production of high quality pies, we’re delighted to have them on-board, particularly in their 50th year of trading.”

Pukka Pies Brand Manager Sally Voss added: “It gives us great pleasure to be able to maintain our long-standing links with our local Football Club in what is a special year for Pukka Pies as we celebrate our 50th anniversary.

“As a proud partner of Leicester City and a local company that employs many of the Club’s supporters, we are thrilled to be able to continue to supply King Power Stadium with our pies; something we have done for a number of years and hope to continue doing into the future.”

As well as their extensive coverage at football stadiums Pukka Pies also supported the official Pukka Pies England Band on their trip to the FIFA World Cup 2010, The London 2012 Olympics and UEFA 2012 European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
