Leeds Rhinos Score Energy Sponsorship Deal With Planet-U

UK rugby league giants Leeds Rhinos have agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with Planet-U.

The partnership will see the renewable energy company’s logo on the back of the players’ shirts until 2021. Meanwhile all energy used at the Super League club’s Emerald Headingley Stadium will be supplied by Planet-U.

Director Grant Nicholson said of the agreement: “We are very proud to be associated with one of the most iconic rugby league teams in the world. The sponsorship gives us a platform to support the team and drive awareness profile and growth for the Planet Holdings brand and companies.

We are investing in our energy market team and will deliver 100 percent renewable energy for our growing number of clients in the UK and overseas.”

Rhinos currently lie sixth in the Super League table and face Castleford Tigers on Saturday.
