Labatt Breweries of Canada to Sponsor 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup

FIFA have signed a sponsorship agreement with Labatt Breweries of Canada for the Canadian brand to become the second National Supporter of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.
The agreement provides Labatt with extensive marketing rights within Canada for the next edition of the flagship tournament in women’s football, site set to take place in Canada from 6 June to 5 July, 2015.
Labatt has a strong history of supporting football in Canada, with existing team partnerships in Vancouver and Toronto.
“We’re delighted to welcome Labatt as the second National Supporter for the FIFA Women’s World Cup,” said Thierry Weil, FIFA’s Marketing Director. “We saw from the last edition of the event in Germany just how important the support of national companies is to the success of the event and are happy to see the commitment of leading Canadian companies such as Labatt. Labatt is the second company to sign up as a National Supporter of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, following mobile telecommunications company Bell. In total, six National Supporter slots are available for the event
