Korean Golfer Kim Hyo Joo Extends Lotte Group Deal

South Korean golfer Kim Hyo Joo has signed an extension to her personal sponsorship deal with Lotte Group.

The 19-year-old has agreed a renewed deal to represent the Korean food and shipping company for a further five years worth US$1.2 million and performance incentives.

For every tournament victory Kim will earn an extra 70 per cent of her winnings and a top-five finish will earn her a 30 per cent bonus.

Lotte are Kim’s main corporate sponsor and first signed the teenager in 2012, medicine securing a deal with her worth US$500,000 when she turned professional at the age of just 17.
