Kooga Named as Kit Supplier to Uruguay Rugby Team for World Cup

The Uruguay national rugby team has agreed a deal with Kooga to be its official kit supplier for this year’s Rugby World Cup.

The team has signed a one-year deal with the Manchester-based rugby kit manufacturer that will see them provide kits for the world cup in England this autumn. 

Andrew Ronnie, Kooga Managing Director, commented: “We are very excited about this partnership with the Uruguay Rugby Union. Kooga is a brand that has always prided itself in supporting rugby at all levels of the game and the Uruguay national team play with such passion for the sport, we feel honored to be a part of that.

“They have had an amazing journey to get this far and hopefully we can help with the next stage of it and maybe they can even surprise a few people along the way.”

URU President Sebastian Piñeyrua, said: “Give 100%, it’s the first condition to be part of our team, we are proud of what we are and we work hard to be better. Thanks Kooga to be part of our squad, the Rugby World Cup in England will be fantastic.
