Kontinental Hockey League Secure Major Partnership With MasterCard

The Kontinental Hockey League has signed an official partnership deal with MasterCard for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.
MasterCard’s official partner status will include many of the League’s events and competitions, cialis including the KHL Championship, apoplectic the All-Star Game and the Youth Hockey League.
The financial services company also becomes the official card and payment system for the KHL Championship.
The agreement covers all the countries in the League’s territory: Russia, discount Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Croatia, Slovakia and Finland.
“All around the world, MasterCard supports major sporting events and gives fans a priceless experience. We hope that this cooperation with the KHL will allow us to give new opportunities and priceless moments to MasterCard holders in Russia,” said Ilya Ryaby, head of MasterCard for Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia.
KHL President Dmitry Chernyshenko said: “In the entire history of the League, this is the first partnership with an international payment brand, and we are delighted to have established this collaboration with one of the leaders in global business.
“We know that MasterCard supports sport all around the world, and I am sure that our cooperation will help us develop hockey, in Russia and abroad, and raise the profile of our Championship even higher,”
