Jani-King Signs Three New PGA Tour Ambassadors
October 6, 2014
Commercial cleaning franchise Jani-King International has added to its roster of PGA Tour ambassadors.
In addition to renewing agreements with Chad Campbell, Martin Flores and Ryan Palmer, Jani-King is adding Luke Guthrie, Kevin Kisner and Hudson Swafford to its roster.
“Since 2009, Jani-King has been represented on the PGA Tour by Chad Campbell and in 2012 we began an official partnership with the PGA of America,” said Mike Biggs, Executive Director of Sports Partnerships and Business Development. “In 2012, we also added additional players to promote the brand and expand our association with the Tour. We are excited to grow that program for the upcoming season in order to create more value for our regions and business owners.”
As the world’s largest commercial cleaning franchise company, Jani-King uses its PGA partnership and PGA Tour player sponsorships not only to expand its golf/country club and resort cleaning opportunities, but as a tool to grow all areas of business.
“The game of golf is one of the best sports business tools out there if used correctly,” said Biggs. “So many corporate decision makers play and follow the game. Whether out on the golf course playing or spending the day in a hospitality tent, there just aren’t many atmospheres that promote genuine relationship building like that of golf. More Jani-King regional offices use PGA Tour events to entertain customers and prospects than any of our other varied sports partnership assets.
“Expanding the number of players we have competing on the PGA Tour gives our franchisees and regional owners more opportunity to see their brand playing on the weekend and more opportunity for entertaining guests. This also supports our growing list of PGA Tour tournament hospitality locations.”
Jani-King currently has designated hospitality areas at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Honda Classic, WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, PGA Championship, PGA Grand Slam of Golf and at U.S.-based Ryder Cup Matches. In addition, Jani-King regions host guests at more than 20 other PGA Tour events in various capacities.
