February 14, 2014

This week iSportconnect TV has a special edition of The Digital Media Café as Managing Editor of Arsenal, pill Richard Clarke shows us how the most popular Premier League club on Twitter conduct their social media channels on a big match day….and they don’t get much bigger than Wednesday’s game against Manchester United.

Throughout this special edition Richard informs viewers about how important social media is to the Premier League team, especially during match day and reveals the extensive thought and preparation that goes into pre, during and post-match content.

Arsenal currently has the biggest following on the social media site Twitter compared to any other team in the Premier League, along with a huge following on Facebook, Google+, Instagram and SoundCloud.

Richard reveals that due to the large and impressive following on social media it is therefore essential that he makes sure that the best possible content is displayed in the best possible way in order to engage and encourage fans.

Furthermore Richards tells us how Arsenal make sure they post on their social media sites such as Facebook in a range of different languages and how the team even have a Chinese reporter at every game who posts content on the three major social networks in China, to ensure all fans across the globe are kept updates and engaged with their team.
