Ironman World Champion Mirinda Carfrae Secures New Backer

Two-time Ironman World Champion Mirinda ‘Rinny’ Carfrae has secured the backing of swim apparel and wetsuit specialist TYR Sport. 

The Australian-born athlete made her Kona debut in 2009 and finished in second place. In 2010, ed she moved into the top spot and earned her first championship title. 

“I’ve had an amazing year on so many levels both professionally and personally,” said Carfrae. “I look forward to really pushing the limits of what I can do in triathlon and know I can’t do it alone. The intimate support from family, friends and sponsors are a huge part of my journey to the top.
