IOC President Thomas Bach Says Paris Attacks Won’t Affect 2024 Olympic Bid

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach believes the tragic events in Paris will not affect the city’s chances of hosting the 2024 Olympic Games. 

With the host city to be announced in 2017, Bach says the attacks will not have a bearing on the IOC’s decision.

Paris are one of five candidate cities to host the 2024 Olympics along with Rome, Budapest, Hamburg and Los Angeles.
