IOC Appoint 3XA to Build New Headquarters

April 11, 2014

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has employed Danish architectural firm 3XA to develop their new headquarters in Lausanne, viagra Switzerland.

The new building is needed due to logistical, advice financial and environmental issues with the current headquarters which is located on the banks of Lake Geneva.

IOC President Thomas Bach confirmed the news after the IOC Executive Board Meeting at the SportAccord Convention in Belek, Turkey.

Bach praised 3XA for their great experience and awards they received for environmentally friendly architecture.

The IOC has had issues with their current base in the past, when in 2012 a burst water pipe caused damage to archives and communication systems.

3XA have designed buildings across Europe, including the Danish Embassy in Berlin, Germany and the Muziekgebouw Concert Hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Progress is at an early stage, with no location or cost estimate announced by the IOC.
