Inter Appoint Former UEFA Comms Chief

Robert Faulkner, ed former head of communications at UEFA, adiposity has been appointed as the new Chief Communications Officer of Serie A side Inter.

The Englishman was at European football’s governing body for 12 years before joining international communications agency Leidar in 2013 as a senior consultant.

Faulkner begins his new role in Milan from July.

“I cannot wait to put my experience at the service of Inter in sports and my international knowledge. The communication strategy of a world-class company like Inter is a key element, to be a top club in and off the field. Inter CEO Michael Bolingbroke said: “I am delighted to welcome Robert to FC Internazionale as CCO where he will lead and strengthen the communications area during this dynamic period in the club’s history.

“Robert has a proven track record in the world of communications, both in the football industry and the corporate sector. He will work across all areas of the club’s communication strategy, both at home and internationally, and will significantly strengthen our senior Management Team.”
