Impressive Innovation from World-Class Experts at the Sport Innovation Summit Mexico 2017

Mexico City, Mexico, February 23rd 2017.- The Sport Innovation Summit (SiS), Mexico’s largest sports networking and innovation hub, celebrated its fourth edition with experts from the global sports industry. Speakers never before seen in this country, leaders and decision makers were present, positioning SiS as a one-of-a-kind event in Mexico.

Mexico City was host to #SiSMexico2017, on February 22nd and 23rd, where 30 world-class experts shared their experience and innovation success stories on different topics with more than 1,000 attendees, industry leaders and representatives of sports organizations, brands, media, startups ecosystem, technology companies, athletes and promoters. SiS proved to be an extraordinary opportunity to do networking with decision makers of the sports industry.

This year’s SiS was dedicated to topics such as new technology for Smart Stadiums, the impressive future of eSports, the new ways of improving Fan Experience and engaging fans through innovation, analytics and science as tools for Sports Performance, Sponsorship Innovation to create value for brands, new content and distribution platforms to connect with audiences, Sports Capitals with strategies to receive great events and innovation as a disruptive model to differentiate business.

María del Rosario Espinoza, the most acclaimed Mexican Olympic medalist in history, shared her amazing success story with the audience. Meanwhile, #SiSMexico2017 functioned as be the set of the live recording of the famous sports program and innovative platform, Comex Masters, which was conducted by the legendary sports journalist José Ramón Fernández, who interviewed Chivas del Guadalajara CEO José Luis Higuera, and Gustavo Silikovich, River Plate General Manager.

Red Bull presented a spectacular documentary and first ever kitesurfing film made in 4k, introduced by two if its athletes, Bruna Kajiya, Freestyle Kitesurf World Champion, and Anthar Racca, Mexican Kitesurf Champion.

With a few words from Arnaud Drijard, CEO and Co-Founder of Moveo Lab, the company that organizes SiS, ended the fourth edition of the Sport Innovation Summit. These were two days with 30 world class speakers, a lot of learning about impressive innovations in sports and networking at the highest level.
