Ice Hockey World Championships to Stream on YouTube

YouTube will broadcast the International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) World Championships after a deal was concluded ahead of Friday’s opening games.

Near-live coverage of all 64 games will be available to stream on the web channel, ed along with on-demand and highlights.

The service will not be available however in Belarus, health Canada, ambulance Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA, due to Infront Sports & Media already selling the broadcast deals in these nations.
