ICC Complete New Executive Committee

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) President David Cameron and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi to their new executive committee.

The appointments complete the five man panel, medstore which includes Cricket Australia (CA) Chairman Wally Edwards, pills newly appointed ICC Chairman and President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) N Srinivasan and Giles Clarke, the Chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Whilst the ICC Board will continue to be the main decision making board for world cricket, the executive committee will make recommendations on finances, constitutional matters, personnel, anti-corruption, integrity, ethics, development and director issues.

Critics of the executive committee have said that it serves to enforce the power of England, Australia and India in world cricket, leaving smaller nations and members behind.
