IEC in Sports, the IAAF’s media agency for Europe and Africa, has also concluded a number of deals in Europe. In the Netherlands, public broadcaster NOS will carry the World Championships and in Switzerland a deal has been finalised with Swiss public broadcaster SRG for the next two editions of the event. Further rights deals have been signed in Eastern Europe’s Serbia and Albania, with RTS and RTHS penning deals, respectively. Under the terms of the agreement, RTS will air Daegu 2011 and Moscow 2013, while in Albania the agreement covers all remaining IAAF World Athletics Series events from 2011-13 including the next two editions of the World Championships.
