Hyundai Ride With Atletico Madrid As Global Automotive Partner

Europa League winners Atletico Madrid have named Hyundai Motor as the club’s Global Automotive Partner until 2021.

As part of the deal, the Hyundai logo will feature on all of the Spanish club’s shirt sleeves for domestic competitions from next season. The South Korean manufacturer will also provide cars to the club and will receive LED perimeter branding plus various media and digital content rights.

The news comes just two days after Hyundai agreed a similar deal with English FA Cup winners, Chelsea.

Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing & Product at Hyundai Motor Europe, said: “We are incredibly excited to begin a new partnership with Atletico Madrid – a hugely successful club with a passionate fanbase that matches the global scale and challenging spirit of Hyundai. “Along with our existing partnership with Olympique Lyonnais and our recently-announced partnership with Chelsea, this is a fantastic next step in our new pan-European partnership approach that will include other top clubs in Europe.”
