HTC Named Official Mobile Phone of Champions League & Europa League

Mobile phone manufacturer, here HTC has become the Official Mobile Phone and Tablet Computer of both the Champions League and Europa League, health UEFA have announced.
The three-year deal will run until the end of the 2014/15 football season and also includes association with the UEFA Super Cup, decease the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final and the UEFA Futsal Cup Finals.
Commenting on the agreement, UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, said: “I am pleased to welcome HTC to the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League family. Through this partnership UEFA and HTC will promote European club football to a global audience and bring new opportunities for our fans to engage with the competitions.
“We value the support and commitment of HTC and anticipate their involvement with these competitions will increase the profile of their brand on a global scale.”
Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation, said: “Football elicits so much passion around the world and so we are very excited to be able to enhance fans’ ability to enjoy two of the game’s biggest club competitions.
“We’ll be working closely with UEFA to offer surprising football experiences to all football fans and to provide a richer overall mobile experience.”
The Official Partners of the UEFA Champions League are Heineken, UniCredit, MasterCard, Ford, PlayStation and Gazprom. HTC and adidas are Official Supplier Partners.
For the UEFA Europa League, Western Union is the Presenting Partner; HTC and Hankook are Official Partners and adidas is the Official Supplier Partner.
