Hilton Honours Announces USA Gymnastics Ambassadors

August 2, 2013

Hilton Honours have named their ambassadors for their Team Hilton HHonors program following their partnership renewal with USA Gymnastics.

2012 Olympic all-around bronze-medalist Danell Leyva of Miami/Universal Gymnastics, and 2012 Olympic teammates Jonathan Horton of Houston/Cypress Gymnastics, Jake Dalton of Reno, Nev./University of Oklahoma, and John Orozco of the Bronx, N.Y./U.S. Olympic Training Center, are among the 11 gymnasts who will represent Team Hilton HHonors in 2013.

Sponsored by Hilton HHonors, the loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s 10 distinct hotel brands, Team Hilton HHonors is a program that provides direct financial support to selected male gymnasts to help offset their training expenses while they pursue their Olympic dreams.

The three 2012 Olympic alternates are also on Team Hilton HHonors: Chris Brooks of Houston/Cypress Academy; Steven Legendre of Norman, Okla./University of Oklahoma; and Alexander Naddour of Gilbert, Ariz./USAYouth Fitness Center.
Rounding out the team are: Glen Ishino of Santa Ana, Calif./University of California – Berkeley; Eddie Penev of Penfield, N.Y./Stanford University; Paul Ruggeri of Manlius, N.Y./U.S. GymnasticsDevelopment Center II; and Brandon Wynn of Voorhees, N.J./Ohio State University.

As members of Team Hilton HHonors, the gymnasts wear uniforms bearing the Team Hilton HHonors designation at domestic competitions, as well as make appearances on behalf of HHonors. The creation of Team Hilton HHonors was unveiled in 2011 when Hilton HHonors joined the USAGymnastics family of corporate partners as the official hotel partner.
