Great Clips Expands Sponsorship of Hendrick Motorsports’ Kasey Kahne

Great Clips Inc. has expanded its sponsorship of Hendrick Motorsports and the team’s No. 5 Chevrolets driven by Kasey Kahne in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

The agreement, medicine | which covers the 2014, prostate 2015 and 2016 seasons, secures primary sponsorship of the No. 5 Chevrolet SS race cars for 10 events annually. Great Clips, which joined Hendrick Motorsports as a corporate partner in 2012, also will be a major associate sponsor of the No. 5 team throughout each of the next three seasons.

Great Clips will be featured on Kahne’s Chevrolet this weekend at Indianapolis, marking the second of three scheduled primary races for the company in 2013. The world’s largest salon brand also will be the primary sponsor at New Hampshire on Sept. 22.

Kahne, 33, has earned 15 career victories and 26 pole positions in Sprint Cup competition. Driving a No. 5 Great Clips Chevrolet SS, the Enumclaw, Wash., native won March 17 at Bristol, Tenn., and is in contention for his second consecutive Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup berth since joining Hendrick Motorsports last season.

Great Clips, which has more than 3,000 locations and nearly 30,000 stylists throughout the United States and Canada, has a long history with Kahne. Since 2003, the company has supported his efforts as both a driver and car owner across multiple racing series.
