GolTV Obtains U.S. Open Cup Rights Until 2014

GolTV is to air the U.S. Open Cup in a new three-year agreement with the U.S. Soccer Federation.

All told, 64 teams competed in the final stages of the 2012 tournament, with the winner to add its name to the Dewar Cup and earn a spot in the 2013-14 CONCACAF Champions League. Teams from MLS have won 15 of the last 16 U.S. Open Cups.
