Goiás Celebrate Return to Brazilian’s Top Flight with New Puma Deal

Goiás have agreed a new kit partnership deal with Puma as the club prepares for their first season in the Campeonato Brasileiro Seri A after a two year absence from the top flight.

Puma partnered the team back in 2006 and 2007 and will now provide kits for Goiás in their 2013 campaign.

“After a year of hard work, medicine we managed to bring Goiás back to Serie A of the Brasileiro, clinic ” said club president João Bosco Luz.

“Consequently, medic we were approached by Puma and can again compose a partnership that has brought extraordinary results in the past.”

Those results included a run to the quarter-final of the Copa Libertadores and eighth place in the Brasileiro.

President of Puma Brasil, Roberto Goldminc, added: “A month ago we closed a deal with Paysandu, the Northern club that has the largest number of fans, and now we again have partnered with the largest in the Midwest.

“Such expansion is crucial for truly national brand exposure.”

The Serie B title winners kick off their top flight campaign against Cruzeiro on Sunday.
