Gloucestershire Cricket Announce Significant Globe Sports Partnership

Gloucestershire Cricket Board have announced a three-year deal with Globe Sports as their official retailer supplying county kit and offering discounts to players at all levels of the game.
The agreement also includes sponsorship to assist the Board in its ongoing work developing the grass roots game.
Globe Sports sales director Rob Allan said: “We believe very strongly that investing in the youth is the future of cricket for all concerned.
We’re delighted to be able to assist the Gloucestershire Cricket Board to drive forward with the development of the game in the area.
“We look forward to welcoming players, parents and staff from the GCB to Globe Sports and offering them the attention and service that have been the cornerstones of Globe for 25 years.”
As part of the deal Globe Sports will issue all players who represent Gloucestershire at age group level with a discount card which entitles them to savings on cricket equipment in store. They will also be able to benefit from exclusive special offers on new kit. The discount cards will also be issued to all clubs who are affiliated to the GCB.
Building on the relationship with leading cricket manufacturer Gray Nicolls, Globe Sports will co-ordinate all the clothing for representative players and Cricket Board staff, as well as offering special deals to all clubs under the umbrella of the Board.
Commenting on the agreement, Steve Silk said: “This is a fantastic deal as it will benefit every cricketer in the county from club players up to elite performance level.
“Globe have long been established as the premier cricket retailer in the area and we are delighted to continue our association with them.”
