Glasgow 2014 Announce EventServ as Official Supplier

Glasgow 2014 today announced EventServ as a supplier to the Commonwealth Games.

As part of the deal, health EventServ will provide performance stages, vcialis 40mg crowd barriers, public access staircases, containment bridges, video scoreboard structures, timber framing and camera towers across a wide range of Games sites and venues, including the Athletes’ Village. 

Prior to the Games, EventServ provided crowd control barriers for promotional events in Glasgow and were then contracted through the procurement process to supply video scoreboard structures and performance stages. Since joining the Games family the company have deployed mobile teams around Glasgow to provide event standby and have installed additional structures across key Games venues. 

David Grevemberg, Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive, said: “We are pleased to acknowledge EventServ as a supplier to Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the largest sporting and cultural event in Scotland’s history. As an Organising Committee we pride ourselves on providing a quality visitor experience at our venues and we know that EventServ are well-equipped to help us deliver these services.”

The 2014 Commonwealth Games took 7,700 man hours to install; 76 commercial vehicles; and over 500 tons of product to make sure the public are kept safe, whilst still enjoying great views of the Games. This is a great event for us to be involved with and we are all looking forward to the rest of the week.”
