George North & Maximuscle Agree Sponsorship

Wales and Scarlets winger George North has agreed a new sponsorship deal with sports nutrition brand Maximuscle. 

North will be Maximuscle’s official Welsh representative and he will receive individually-tailored nutritional support for the next three years.

He joins other leading athletes inclusing Amir Khan, Greg Rutherford and Stuart Broad as ambassadors of the Hemel-Hempstead based brand.

North said: “It is a massive year for all those involved in home nation’s rugby. Saturday sees the close of what has been an incredible RBS 6 Nations. Right now all my attention is focussed on beating England.

“International rugby is seriously demanding; your body takes a lot of knocks. My nutrition plan will be essential to enabling me to recover well after tough matches and go on to achieve my goals. Maximuscle have been great support to Welsh rugby and in my eyes they are the leaders in the field.  I am very excited to be joining the Maximuscle team.”
