GBI Racing to Sponsor Jockey Kirsty Milczarek

May 2, 2013

GBI Racing, which broadcasts British and Irish racing to a global audience, has signed a sponsorship deal with one of the UK’s best-known female Flat jockeys, Kirsty Milczarek.

GBI Racing is a TV broadcast and media service, which delivers high quality, live thoroughbred racing content, data, information and promotions to betting shop and online operators around the world.

Milczarek, who has ridden more than 250 winners in the UK, sprung to prominence in 2008 when she rode 71 winners and won the Winter Season Apprentice Title.

The 28-year-old’s biggest win came in 2010 aboard I Love Me in one of the most valuable two-year-old races in the calendar, the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions Auction Trophy at Newmarket.

The former show-jumper is also known for her association with one of the world’s best-known fillies, the multiple Group 1-winning Snow Fairy, who Milczarek rode when the mare won her first ever race.

Top jockey Milczarek said: “I am delighted to be linking up with a racing partner like GBI Racing, which showcases British and Irish racing all around the world and hopefully the partnership will work well for both parties in promoting and raising our respective profiles.”

The agreement will see Milczarek ride in GBI Racing branding, as well as making regular appearances on the GBI Racing TV channel. She will also write a weekly column for gbiracing.com.

GBI Racing Territory Director, James Singer, added: “The GBI Racing TV service provides a window to the world on UK and Irish Racing and benefits the sport via media rights revenue. Kirsty will help maintain and enhance the profile and leading status of UK and Irish racing, racecourses, bloodstock and breeding operations to audiences around the world.”
