Friends Life Ambassador Role for Marcus Trescothick

Somerset Country cricketer Marcus Trescothick has become an ambassador for insurance firm Friends Life.

The agreement will see the former England international be the face of the title sponsors of the Friends Life t20 competition for the duration of the 2013 cricket season.

Trescothick will also give fans the chance to win an ‘expert masterclass’ with himsefl at the Lord’s cricket ground.

Trescothick said: “I’m delighted to be an ambassador for Friends Life who have a long standing association with cricket, hospital and over the past few years have become an integral part of the domestic t20 competition.

“I look forward to working with them during a very exciting season in English cricket.”

Friends Life announced they would not title sponsor the domestic t20 competition in 2014, cheap meaning the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are on the hunt for a new sponsor.
