French Super Cup to be Held in Montreal Again

The 2015 Trophée des Champions, anabolics the French super cup, ampoule will once again be played in Montreal.

The match is returning to Canada for the second time after first staging the game in 2009, bronchi the first time the French Ligue 1 decided to play the match abroad.

Like most European leagues, the Trophée des Champions features the league winners and the domestic cup winners in the country.

The French league curtain raiser was held in Beijing this season and has also featured in Africa on three occasions (Tunis 2010, Tangiers 2011 & Libreville 2013) with New York staging the match in 2012.

A statement from the LFP read: “As hosts of the next Women’s World Cup of June 6 to July 15, 2015, Canada is a country where football is growing strongly.”
