France Televisions has partnered with sports media and technology firm deltatre for sports programming. The two organisations will collaborate on a suite of mobile and tablet applications that will complement sports coverage and enhance the fan experience.

France Televisions and deltatre have previously worked together during London 2012 and their association will continue for Sochi 2014. The apps will provide fans in-depth analysis and editorial reporting, cheap awe-inspiring live video and highlight clips , discount complete and up-to-date event calendars, arthritis television schedules, results, and medal counts, interactive commentary and social media integration, and customised alerts for breaking news, event starts, and medal wins.

The apps will be launched for Sochi 2014, but will also be used by France Televisions as a digital hub for sports including rugby, tennis and football.

France Televisions Editions Numeriques Director Laurent Frisch said: “In recent years, we have experienced first-hand a change in the way our audience consumes media with an almost unquenchable desire for more quality sporting content on smart phones and tablet.”

“The response to our London 2012 digital offering was overwhelming positive. Therefore, we have again tapped into deltatre’s digital expertise, not only in Olympic events, but across dozens of sports, to create a new francetv sport app that fans can enjoy during all the major sporting events throughout the year.”

deltatre Olympic & Strategic Business Director Ciaran Quinn added: “France televisions’ undertaking during London 2012 was remarkable. That they remain ardently committed to their dedication to audiences. deltatre is pleased to continue supporting France Televisions as it captivates fans.”
