Fox Sports Acquires MLS Rights in Italy

American broadcaster Fox Sports has secured the rights in Italy to the remainder of the 2014 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.

The deal was agreed with international media agency MP & Silva and as part of the agreement Fox Sports 2 and Fox Sports Plus will show coverage of the MLS Playoffs.

The MLS playoffs begin this weekend with New York Red Bulls facing New England Revolution in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Championship.

This will be followed by the Western Conference Championship match between LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders.
