Fox Become Third to Secure UEFA Broadcast Rights

Following in the footsteps of Sky Italia and Al Jazeera, Fox Sports have agreed to renew their exclusive rights deal to broadcast the UEFA Champions League in the U.S. and Caribbean for an additional three-years until 2014/15. The package also includes the rights to the 2012, 2013 and 2014 UEFA Super Cup’s.

The footage will be aired over the company’s various platforms including Fox Sports, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus,Fox Deportes, Fox Sports Net and FX and also FOXsoccer.tv, the online video streaming service.

The current deal held by Fox is in its second year and is the first time that the company have purchased the rights to air every single Champions League game, 146 in all.
