Fortuna Düsseldorf Name Henkel As Sponsor

German football club Fortuna Düsseldorf has named Henkel as their main club and shirt sponsor.
As part of the deal, the chemical and consumer goods company will receive comprehensive advertising services as well as matchday benefits for its employees such as access to tickets for home games.
“Henkel and Fortuna combine more than a long and successful collaboration. We share common values, we have been rooted in Dusseldorf for more than a century and we know that the performance of the team is always important. Many of our employees are enthusiastic Fortuna fans. We are therefore delighted that we can now further expand our long-standing partnership and accompany Fortuna as our main and shirt sponsor from the new season,” said Henkel CEO, Hans Van Bylen.
“It is a great success for Fortuna that with Henkel we were able to win the only Dax company in the state capital and a genuine global player as our new main sponsor,” added Robert Schäfer, CEO of Fortuna Düsseldorf. “The commitment of Henkel was the long-cherished wish of many Fortunians and Dusseldorf and once again underlines the attractiveness of Fortuna as a first-class sponsoring partner.”
Fortuna Düsseldorf returned to the German top flight last season after winning Bundesliga 2.
