Former Rangers CEO Charles Green Back at Ibrox as Consultant

August 2, 2013

The controversial former CEO of Rangers, Charles Green has returned to the Glasgow club as a consultant.

Green stepped down as CEO at Ibrox after a probe was launched into his links with former owner Craig Whyte.

He left because of the ‘negative publicity’ that surrounded the investigation, with allegations there had been undeclared dealings between Green and Whyte in the takeover process.

These claims were never justified in the investigation and now the club have now announced Green has returned as a consultant, telling the Stock Exchange: “Mr Green’s role will be to promote the interests of Rangers Football Club.

“Specifically assisting with shareholder relations and advising the company on its capital structure.”
