Former Orlando City VP Leonardo Santiago joins USL

The United Soccer League, the third tier of North American football, has appointed Leonardo Santiago as its new Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Santiago, former Vice President of Miami FC and Orlando City SC, will oversee several key areas of the league’s marketing efforts.

Santiago, who has a substantial background in Speedway, said of his new appointment, ‘I am honoured to join the USL as it continues to build the future of professional soccer in North America.

The USL will comprise 33 teams next season, with four new franchises joining the organisation.
