Floyd Mayweather Secures Record-Breaking Deal with Showtime and CBS

The highest paid athlete in the world and undefeated eight-time champion, sales Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has secured a record breaking pay-per-view deal with Showtime Networks Inc. and CBS.

Under the agreement Showtime PPV will collaborate with CBS Corporation to comprehensively to promote the boxer’s events on the CBS Television Network and the corporation’s expansive media platforms.

The unique revenue-sharing arrangement will see Mayweather fight up to six times in a 30 month period, medicine with the first event taking place against Robert ‘The Ghost’ Guerrero on 4 May.

The new deal is by far the biggest in the sport of boxing. Mayweather averages over one million PPV buys per event, which is the largest for any boxer in history.
