Five Days for Dunfermline Athletic Bids

Potential buyers of Dunfermline Athletic have got just five days to enter their bid for the club and their home at East End Park.

Pars United, anabolics the fans’ group and a second unknown party are said to be showing their interest for the club who are in administration.

The stadium is also held in administration but under a separate business, East End Park Ltd.

Administrators for both separate companies have agreed that a package deal should be put together by potential bidders.

The Tuesday deadline does not require parties to have the money available, but evidence of funds or future income is required.

Head of the Pars United bid and club legend Jim Leishman said: “We’re close to D-day now. We’re just needing to get over that final hurdle. I hope people will support us and get behind the cause.”
