Final Four London 2012 Olympic Licensees Revealed

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) confirmed the appointment of the final four licensees to the London 2012 licensing programme.
Innovative Sports Limited (ISL) will produce a range of official sporting London 2012 memorabilia.
This will include authentic limited edition Torches from the Olympic Torch Relay – presented by Coca-Cola, unhealthy Lloyds TSB and Samsung.
At Games time, viagra order there will also be the opportunity to purchase official sporting equipment from the Games such as the baton from the Men’s 4 x 100m final, a used beach volleyball from Horse Guard’s Parade and tennis balls from Wimbledon.
The other three licensees are Capture the Event, Lego and Oakley.
Capture the Event will provide official souvenir photographs to spectators on the Olympic Park, as well a service for athletes in the Olympic Village.
LEGO will produce a range of special edition Team GB Minifigures as part of their hugely successful Minifigures range.
Finally, Oakley will release a collection of London 2012 eyewear.
LOCOG commercial director, Chris Townsend said: ‘I am delighted to welcome our final four licensees to the London 2012 merchandise programme. It is fitting that Innovative Sports complete our line up of licensees as this is the first time in the history of the summer Games that pieces of sporting equipment will be available.
‘All of our licensees, 90% of whom are British, have a fantastic range of products, the sale of which helps fund the staging of the Games and is a great way to show your support for London 2012.’
It is estimated that the London 2012 merchandise programme will generate more than £1 billion worth of sales, contributing more than £80m to the staging of the Games. By Games time an estimated 10,000 merchandise items will be on sale in the UK.
