FINA Re-elects Maglione as President

The International Swimming Federation (FINA) General Congress has re-elected Dr. Julio C. Maglione to a second four-year term at their meeting in Barcelona.

A record-number of 170 National Federations participated in the re-election of Dr. Maglione, who became president in 2009, in addition to the election of a new Bureau.

Other business discussed at the General Congress included the approval of the creation of the FINA Ethics Panel in addition to amendments to constitutional and facilities rules.
