Fiji Water Named Centennial Sevens Title Sponsor

Fiji Water has been names the title sponsor of the forthcoming Centennial Sevens rugby tournament. 

Sixteen national sides will compete in the IRB-sanctioned event, taking place on 4th and 5th of October at the ANZ Stadium on Suva, the capital of Fiji.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, though Rokoseru Nabalarua, the chief executive of Fiji Water, has said it is the brand’s biggest ever invesment into sport.

Nabalarua said: “Fiji seven-a-side rugby and Fiji Water are a natural fit, as both serve as ambassadors for the country, bringing international recognition of all that makes Fiji unique.”

Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) director Billy Singh added: “Moving forward, this partnership between Fiji Water and Fiji Rugby proves that there are bigger and better things yet to come in terms of rugby here in Fiji.”
