FIFA to Double Prize Money For 2015 Women’s World Cup

FIFA has announced the prize money for the 2015 Women’s World Cup will be doubled from the previous tournament.

The winners will earn $2 million (£1.28 million) compared to the $1 million received by current holders Japan in 2011.
