January 6, 2016
FIFA presidential candidate Prince Ali bin-al Hussein of Jordan says it will be a ‘catastrophe’ is he isn’t elected to succeed Sepp Blatter as FIFA president.
The Jordanian lost out to Blatter in the election in May 2015, but has submitted his candidacy after the 79-year-old Swiss stepped down a month later.
Prince Ali will be up against Jerome Champagne, Gianni Infantino, Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al-Khalifa and Tokyo Sexwale.
