Fifa in Deal with Olympic Channel

Fifa has entered into a co-operation agreement with the Olympic Channel, treatment becoming the 36th international federation to do so.
The deal will provide the Olympic Channel with news access and content licences, clinic and aims to continue the promotion of soccer as an Olympic sport.
This latest announcement follows October’s news that six international federations, including the International Cycling Union (ICU), had signed agreements with the Olympic Channel.
Mark Parkman, general manager of the Olympic Channel, said: “Football is one the most popular sports on the planet, and we are excited to work together with Fifa to amplify the excitement of football at the Olympic Games.”
Only four international federations for sports involved in the Summer Olympics have yet to agree deals with the Olympic Channel, although this does include the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
