Basel Renew Kit Partnership With Adidas

Swiss football giants Basel have extended their partnership with Adidas until 2022.
Under the agreement, the German sportswear manufacturer will continue to be the club’s official kit provider for the first team as well as the junior and women’s sides.
Adidas’s partnership with Basel first began in 2012.
Club President, Bernhard Burgener, said of the deal: “Adidas is a great company with a huge and long-standing tradition in football – that’s why this outfitter also fits in perfectly with the FCB. We are enormously pleased that we can continue on our path with an internationally strong and loyal partner in the future. And we will, of course, do our utmost to continue the red-blue success story together and with the support of Adidas. ”
Beat Lerch, Director of Brand Activation Switzerland at Adidas, added: “FC Basel 1893 is the most important and successful football asset in and for the whole of Switzerland. Therefore, we are happy to continue the outstanding and professional cooperation until 2022. Adidas is confident that it will be able to achieve joint success with FCB in the coming years. ”
Basel finished runner-up in the Swiss Super League last season.
