Eurosport Signs Three-Year Extension For Champions League Twenty20

September 1, 2014

Eurosport has agreed a three-year extension with STAR Sports to broadcast the Champions League Twenty20 tournament in the UK & Ireland and across mainland Europe.

Eurosport will broadcast the 2014, pills 2015 and 2016 editions of the tournament to over 50 European countries featuring live, arthritis delayed and replayed rights along with the possibility for a catch-up TV service.

The deal extends Eurosport’s Champions League cricket coverage to seven years.

David Kerr, ampoule Managing Director of British Eurosport, said: “The Champions League Twenty20 tournament gives viewers spectacular cricket from some of the game’s top international stars.

“Eurosport has shown the CL20 since 2009 and it’s brought many new viewers to the channel, so extending the deal to 2016 gives us an opportunity to build the tournament and cricket awareness in general.

“We look forward to another exciting event in September this year.”

The Champions League Twenty20 tournament will take place in India on Saturday 13th September.
