French broadcaster Eurosport have agreed on a three-year contract extension with MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports.

The new deal will include Eurosport remaining the exclusive MotoGP broadcaster on French territory until the end of the 2017 season.

This new deal sees Eurosport France’s MotoGP coverage improved with full live coverage of all sessions and races of the three World Championship classes on Eurosport and Eurosport 2, but also through the Eurosport website and mobile/tablet apps.

Eurosport Player will feature the ground-breaking MotoGP Multi-Feed coverage with a total of 7 channels, adding 4 OnBoard channels, a Helicopter feed, Live Tracking and Live Timing feeds to the regular programme feed.

Manel Arroyo, Managing Director of Dorna Sports, TV and Media Area, commented: “We are delighted to extend our long partnership with Eurosport in France for another three seasons. We are particularly pleased that French fans of MotoGP will be able to watch more in-depth live coverage than ever before, with the well-known Eurosport team presenting live from the grid at almost all of the events each season.”

Arnaud Simon, Managing Director of Eurosport France, added: “I’m pleased to bring such a great show exclusively to our subscribers for another three years. We’ll be strengthening our partnership with Dorna Sports by deploying an ambitious coverage plan with MotoGP.”
