Euroleague “opts for legal action over dialogue” says Fiba

FIBA has confirmed that the Euroleague has filed a complaint against FIBA and FIBA Europe to the European Commission, alleging violations of EU competition law.

After refusing FIBA’s proposal to enter into a partnership in November 2015, Euroleague’s move confirms that it doesn’t intend to enter into talks with FIBA to try to resolve the current situation surrounding club competitions in Europe.
